72 Mountains and 60 Penetrations七十二穿山六十透地-part
2
As mentioned previously 72 mountains minus the 12 ‘Big Space Peril’ that cannot be utilized to harness kind energies and left with 60 penetrations, nevertheless out of these 60 penetrations (sub-mountains), 12 earthy branches that are ‘miss-match’ should be omitted as well. In order to dictate the kind energies one must apply ‘Kei Mun Tun Kap’ to search for the auspicious as well as the inauspicious energies generated as a result. Those jargons and formula will be introduced later as this method is complicated and cannot be explained in few words, I will write a separate topic on this method in near future. Back to this topic, out of the 48 sub-mountains, only 2 sets of 12 mountains are qualified to be the auspicious dragon energies’ antenna. The 24 sub-mountains are called the 24 Jewels.

Explain
the transformation processes of living beings and things in both philosophical
and scientific manner. Such text will help to align your paradigm in a logical
thinking mode.
1.
The invincible forces are the forces between heaven (sky) and earth. The
Sky represents Yang energy while earth represents Yin energy. The energy form
sky subsides while the earth energy rises resulted in intercourse that creates
changes. The early days Bagua formation is the result of the interaction between
Yin and Yang. The numbers ascribed here are synonymous to married couple with
anything that repel is bad and attract is good. For instant the married couple
numbers are 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, and 4 and 6. Beside this, the creation
couples also serve to ignite kind energy and of course with the right timing are
1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9. This Lok Shu magic numbers work wonder and
are imbedded with secret codes and information that can explain the formation of
universe.
The diagonal and straight sums up to 15 and when we minus the 5 in the
center, the sum add up to 10, which is the married couple number. The numbers in
term of 5-elements are 1, 6 are water, 2, 7 are fire, 3, 8 are wood, 4, 9 are
metal, the position of such numbers dictate what element they belong to.
2. In searching for the real ‘dragon pressure point’ for graveyard site, the dynamic of a dragon will need to meet with the static of the energy gathering point. This is the interaction of Yin and Yang. Sky (天) and Earth (地), Mountain (山) and Swamp (澤), Thunder (雷) and Wind (風), Water (水) and Fire (火) are the symbol of Bagua that carry loads of information about the universe. This can be explained by the law of opposite attracts, without which things cannot hold well, there is no day and night, big and small, tall and short and contra in life.

3.
Forms and energies with cause and effect. Things are classify in
accordance to Yin and Yang and 5-elements. Hard and soft, day and night, heavy
and light and etc. Such phenomena none other than the interaction of Yin and
Yang as a result. The form will dictate what kind of energy that will permeate
and reflect out. This can be explained by the antenna concept in which a
protruding tip will receive the cosmic stars energies and pass to surrounding
inhabitant. Certain sensitivity requires adsorbing such energies. Such
combination will need to satisfy the Yin and Yang concept and anything that
violates such law resulted in unwarranted circumstances. In ancient days, such
concept will help farmers to plant and harvest their produces.
The process requires accommodative of weather in particular.
4.
The 5-elements of earth are virtually the 5-stars in the sky. This
correlation is the natural law of nature that dictating the form and shape of
landforms. Ancient wisdom had let
us know that the Wood Star (木星)
has the unique characteristics among others like representing the direction of
East and is the spring season energy. The Yinghuo (荧惑)
represents summer, fire and the direction of South. The Zeng Star (鎮星)
represents earth and the location of center. The Tai Pa Star (太白)
is metal and represents the season of autumn or fall. The San Star (辰星)
is water and represents winter. The
serial of stars in the sky also represents 5 –elements are the serial of
28-constelation. With 7 each represents by one element. The mountaineers and
rivers are the earth energy. The sky and earth energy combining to achieve
changes to take place.
5.
The balance state of 5-elements is also the balance of Yin and Yang, any
disturbance in equilibrium state will create undesirable outcome. Sole Yin or
sole Yang will not live in harmonious state or they are not mutually exclusive. (孤陰不生,
獨陽不長).
6.
The 4 direction and 8 Guas carry certain energies and information at
different time period. And to live peace fully is to achieve the balance state
of 5 elements.
Summary: The invincible forces are the lively energies between sky and earth, while the forms and shapes determine what kind of element they belong to and any changes in the status quo resulted changes in outcomes. Change is the only constant and is prepared to accept changes in life.
2. Green Bag Preface
(青囊序)-by
Tang era Zeng Qiu Ji唐朝曾求己
The
most obvious message in this text is Feng Shui cannot neglect the Yin and Yang
concept and male versus female interactions or intercourse.
The
author of such book mentioned that Yang Jun Song perception of Yin and Yang is
uniquely different from others. His sole explanation cannot be traced from other
books. The sky energy subsides while the earth energy rises and to a point
intercourse takes place and result in changes. Crops and produce to be planted
in spring while harvesting take place in autumn.
The
invincible forces and energies transformed the universe. The transformation
requires stages and processes. The Yang energy subsides and raises in Yin energy
or vice versa that dictating the process. Observing such changes require
attentive skill. Static and dynamic that contra to each other created changes
within. To determine the 4 golden dragons, one must find out the 4 storages real
direction (ox, dragon, goat and dog), such storages are the out-flow of water,
by determining the outflow we can now trace back the real dragon water inflow or
the water source. The critical part of a Yin is Yang and vice versa. Any changes
require ‘movement’ such movement will create the motion that leads to
changes. The Gua energy that Yin Feng Shui receive is the result of the changes
in the time aspect and as well as space interaction. Changes in time period of
Yang Feng Shui will determine the kind of energies the inhabitant will receive.
Both the hardware (landform) and software (time) needed to stimulate in order
for changes to take place. Nevertheless, the energies will lead the changes in
form while the landform will lead the changes in energies. This is something for
us to ponder upon.
Changes
in the landform, high versus low, incline versus decline and so on can dictate
the Yin or Yang of the landform we intend to study. The hard form of dragon as
well as the invincible dragon both will help to identify the source of in coming
dragon. The source is critical for further identify the quality of the dragon.
In recognizing the landforms, the interaction of three water mouths
(intersection of river mouths) will help us to identify the real in coming
dragon or mountain. Such point is critical for testifying the intercourse of Yin
and Yang.
The
observation of dragon should be from opposite angle so that the ‘shape’ and
‘form’ can be detected. For instance the Dragon from the south should be
observed from North while the Dragon from East should be observed from the West.
A
dragon can be divided into Yin and Yang and the interaction of Yin and Yang
resulted in a formation of a dragon point. This is the typical example in Her
Nan Lok Yang town whereby a ravine and river met. One source is from Hua San and
the other from Song San. Many saints had therefore built their homes here where
the real dragon emerged. After all said and done, once the time aspect is over
such place will become less important.
This
lead to the Guo Pur important teaching, the Zhu Que (frontier) is vibrant that
causes kind energies, that implying the in coming dragon will permeate to
generate beneficial energies at the right time.
The
quick fix for certain solution should be in the proportion of 1 to 2 or 2 to 3.
Such rational is the marriage of Yin and Yang that resulted in 3. The creation
of universe is said to mimic such principle as well. To use one Yao we must also
examine three Yaos, to understand one Gua, examine 3 Guas as well.
Both mountain and water will carry the characteristic of Yin and Yang.
Try this on for size, the mountain is said to be Yin but kind energy is
Yang, such marriage resulted in auspicious setting. Water is said to be Yang
while unkind energy in water is Yin, therefore the marriage of Yin and Yang
would produce desirable outcome. This will lead us to the understanding that
good setting will require the right timing to bring out the best kind energies,
like wise, the bad setting will be catastrophe only if the timing is bad. One
example that during this period 8, the 8, 9 and1 are auspicious and the less are
inauspicious.
The
separation of duty is required here with attentive care, where mountain is
governed by the mountain rule while water is governed by water rule;
nevertheless one similarity in both is the marriages of Yin and Yang. Such
intercourse produces offspring or kind energies. This intercourse should be
natural and not manmade or interferences.
The
formation of 24 mountains is derived from 12 earthly branches, with 8 stems and
4 Guas. It is also believed that most of the 64 Guas can be traced from these 24
mountains. Nevertheless to fix such 24-mountains require attentive care and
rather not easy to fix.
The
24 mountains will rotate either clockwise and anticlockwise and such combination
will resulted 48-setting. The Yang will rotate clockwise (left) while the Yin
will rotate anticlockwise (right). Such spinning is creating the 5-elements and
thus the Yin and Yang. From the spinning lead to 48 setting, we have derived and
come to determine who are grandparents, parents, sons and grandsons! This is
none other than the marriages and intercourses that take place as a result. The
clockwise and anticlockwise, the up and down, the through and flow of such
information resulted intercourse.
The
net Yin and Net yang is not without limitation. Xuan Kong Da Gua will consider
both the Yin and Yang as well as to differentiate them. The real Yin and real
Yang will meet each other and again such intercourse will create kind energy.
The rational here is should the mountain is Yang then the water should be Yin
and vice-versa. The interconnectedness of 24 mountains and Gua energies should
be in harmonious state and act as one entity.
24
mountains by itself will carry 5-elements on its own, and the rotation of left
and right or clockwise and anticlockwise to determine the orientation of a
setting.
The
mountain is governed by mountain rule while the water is governed by water rule.
If such setting is disorientated, where the mountain is found is the water and
vice versa thus such setting violated the natural courses of kind energy
generation.
The
incoming dragon or incoming of water flow should be inline with Gua or net
situation, any dislocation will result in out or Gua or ‘tarnish’ situation.
The intention here is to create a married couple scenario, be it slanted or
straight; the result should be in the combination of 10. Such setting would
fence off the unwarranted unkind energies. The incoming dragon should be lively
and generate kind energy. If the Gua energy is tarnished and unkind energy will
be generated.
The
stars in the sky are limitless and complicated to study; nevertheless we should
know only one principle that is the creation numbers, 16, 27, 38 and 49. The
Xuan Kong theory is the creation numbers that inline with Gua energies to
produce desirable outcome. The topographical setting should satisfy the time
aspect that related to the stars. Such cosmic reaction of time and space is
critical part yet difficult to understand. Gua energy will align the mountain as
well as the water mouth to generate kind energy. It is like gooses in a pond
that meeting each other happily.
Mountain
implying static while water implying dynamic. Mountain governs health and people
while water governs wealth and fortune. The combination of both will dictate the
fame and fortune of a person. Kin, Kwan Kan and Shun Guas are imbedded with 4
kind of energies, auspicious, create, drain or inauspicious. The criteria here
are to satisfy the right timing at the right place.
Out
of ten tombs that examined nine are broke, the reason is simple, they did not
follow the simple rule of incoming water should be auspicious and the out going
water should be inauspicious.
The combined 10 and combined 5 auspicious setting should be followed. The number 4 should meet with only number 1 or 6. Such violation is not good in Feng Shui setting. Apply wrongly the 5-elements orientation would also result in catastrophe.

Green Bag Mystery (青囊奧語)-by Tang era Yang
Jun Song 唐楊筠松
Hidden with precious Feng Shui techniques and secrecy.
Understand and read in between lines will give you a clue as to apply the Xuan
Kong Dai Gua by understanding the techniques of yin and yang interaction.
The
mystery of star allocation (挨星)
is none other than allocating each star with 5 elements. These nine stars each
allotted with 5-elements. Tan, Jue, Lu, Wen, Wu, Po, Pur and Pat each have its
own uniqueness and this is also the Lok Shu numbers. From the statement of
‘Kwan Yam Yue Jue Men from the start’ one can find out that as long as we
uphold the combined-10 theory, we are able to achieve the desired outcome. The
combined-10 theory is important because such intercourse would result in
offspring. Sen Gua in Kwan is 2nd period while Kwun Gua in Yam ought
to allocate 8th period Jie Gua in Yuet, the 2nd and 8th
period now satisfy the combined-10 theory. Such combined-10 resulted Jue Men
setting as a result of ‘Kwan Yam Yuet Jue Men from the start”
‘Kap
Kwai San (monkey) Tan one way street’ is explained as such: The Lei Gua in 1st
period of Kap will need to match with 9th period Kwai of Yik Gua,
Monkey is the 9th period of Wei Jie Gua, this will lead to Tan Lang
setting.
Another
simple explanation is that Kwan, Yam and Yuet are allotted as Jue Men Star (star
2) with facing Kan, Peng and San that allotted Po Jung (star 7), Shun, Shun and
Boar are Wu Ju (star 6) while Kin, Dog and Snake are Tan Lang (Star 1), that
left with Kap, Kwai and Monkey are Tan Lan (Star 1) then Kang, Rat and Tiger
should be Wu Ju (Star 6).
The
Left rotation of Rat and Kwai will end up at Boar and Yam, while the right
rotation of Horse and Ding will end up at Snake and Peng. Such phenomenon is
none other than the concept of Yang subsides while Yin rises and vice versa.
This is implying that each mountain in the 24 mountains carries both Yin
and Yang values.
The
intercourse of Yin and Yang at the right time is the ultimate desired outcome of
Xuan Kong Da Gua. To differentiate the Yin and Yang or husband and wife is
utmost critical and yet difficult task. It is believed that one should seek the
Yin and Yang in the Guas rather than in the 24 mountains.
Mountain
is hard while water is soft. Mountain and water both carry different Yin and
Yang and thus different Gua energy. Both static and dynamic created changes and
outcomes. As such the kind and unkind energies are dictated by the Xuan Kong
effect.
Understand
Xuan Kong in depth and breathe by utilizing the 9-stars and 5-elements will be
sufficient and will not require the knowledge of Stem adoption theory.
To
understand fully the 24-mountains will lead to emerge of treasure or valuable
outcomes, and at the same token there is always 2-sides of a coin; in which such
information always lead us to catastrophic events. This is also the flying star
method of deriving a setting. In which Yang might replaced Yin and vice-versa.
In flying star setting, the time aspect is critical in determining the kind or
unkind setting of a direction. The same setting is auspicious in certain of
period and might just be inauspicious in another period.
In
searching for a real golden dragon, a skilled master will require observing,
analyzing and identifying weather the dragon is still moving or lively, and such
dragon will then require the intercourse of time aspect. The combustion of such
couple with the right 5 elements will result in desired outcome. The key point
here is the dragon must be alive.
This
will lead us to identify the trail of a dragon movement. The ancient saying when
the dragon moves so does the energy. When the dragon halts do does the energy.
Certain dragon will need the ‘stoppage’ or ‘barricade’ to halt;
some dragons require water to halt its energies.
A
bright hall or Ming Tang that is slanted or elevated is not a good one. This is
in line with the incoming energy that should be directly channel to bright hall.
The alignment of tomb with the incoming dragon is critical to determine the fame
and fortune of its next generation. This
is to point out that both the incoming dragon as well as the bright hall is
imperative criteria for selecting a tomb site.
The
channel of energy via dragon body should not be suppressed by its surrounding,
In other words, the up tip or down tip of a dragon should not be too close to a
tomb site.
Four
‘gods’ in a cross line. Such metaphor is to describe a good site should have
a balance of left (Green dragon), right (White Tiger), front (Zhu Que) and back
(Xuan Mu). If these four were to form a cross, then such site is said to be a
perfect one. Such cross is the intercourse of Yin and Yang point.
This
is again to reinforce the importance of the four ‘gods’ that must in proper
alignment in order to generate kind setting.
The
eight Guas water mouth are important, as they will dictate the inflow of kind or
unkind energies. This will require the effort of time aspect in which each must
satisfy the combined-10 theory.
The
incoming of water need attentive care. In simplicity, the incoming water
direction should be auspicious while the outgoing water mouth should be
inauspicious. It is said that the
incoming and outgoing of water can be tailor made in accordance to our need. In
other words, to harness to good one and evade the bad one.
We
have come to a point of a flat land; a flat land will require us to use the same
logic. Nevertheless we will need certain rational and flexibility to identity a
good site.
The
beauty of topography alone is not enough; the inner beauty should be considered
as well. The reason is simple that the combination of both will generate
desirable outcome or offspring. The inner beauty here is the time aspect.
To
identify or fixing the direction, one must know the point of Yin and Yang. The
combined-10 theory, the right Yin and Yang, the right incoming and outgoing
water are the essential criteria in determine the tomb direction.
In
searching for the essence of a right place for a site, the quality or the soil
will look right a spiral of Yin and Yang diagram with Chinese Character of 8
both symmetrical to each other (The Chinese word of eight looks like this八).
It is not an easy task to identify such quality.
The
shapes of 5-stars should not be neglected as they carry significant meaning in
term of 5-elements. Fire shape is sharp, earth shape is square, metal shape is
round, and wood shape is straight while the water is a wave like. To analyze
shapes and sizes, the important thing is without a dent, collapse like, or
significant development of mountain.
The
high versus low of an area is critically important affecting the site selection
process. The frontier of a site also serves as an important element in the
process. The site is either elevated or slanted, far versus near, with or
without a mountain, hill and etc.
To
generate kind energy we must fulfill the basic principle, that is at the right
time, any disorientation might result in otherwise intended outcome. The
direction must be auspicious. Understanding the interaction of 5 elements in
term of creation, destruction, and drainage is imperative in searching for a
right site.
Some
incidences whereby ‘bones’ of a dragon (any solid rocks that protruding out)
could be good or bad depending on the appearances. If such rocks are rough and
spiky then they will bring unkind energies, if such rocks’ surfaces are flat
without sharp edges than these rocks are good rocks that bring good fortune.
Both left and right good rocks will bring ‘status’ energy to the site.
To
understand that any incoming water should be auspicious and any outgoing water
should be inauspicious. It is to recommend that at the frontier, one should
place water for generating kind energies, even if the setting is inauspicious,
the water will serve to ignite the kind energies, beside, water in front will
help us to un-trapped or synergies the ‘trapped’ energies.
Xuan
Kong 5-elements and the 24-mountians 5 elements are not the same no matter how
you turn the table upside down. The 1, 6-water, 2, 7-fire, 3, 8-wood, 4,
9-metal, early days Bagua 5-elements are the ultimate power of Feng Shui; such
power is to differentiate the 24-mountain original 5-elements and the Bagua.
Every year or every twenty-years, a particular star will be in command and such
star is located in the middle of Lok Shu square, this is termed as Central Heart
of the Commanding Period (天心正運).
Nonetheless, the interchangeable information of both early and later days Bagua
is the method that most masters hard up on mastering.
One
Clear Gua energy
is none other than to select the right site at the right direction and at the
right time. To satisfy this we must know the four-criteria that are the Dragon,
Mountain Water and Direction. Both 4 must have the right Guas energies to bring
out the best of a tomb site. Dragon must be energetic and lively, mountain
should provide a good support, and water and direction should be inflow from the
auspicious setting.
To
find out the real dragon point is not easy task let alone to identify a quality
one. Searching for such site require the right Yin and Yang and the Bagua 5
elements that inline with the right period of time.
Summary: To identify the real dragon, first we must determine if such dragon is moving or static, the way the dragon moves or halts will serve as an indicator to dictate the ultimate shapes and sizes, the shapes and sizes in form of appearance and 5-element will determine the kind of energies to be radiated. We would than differentiate the Yin and Yang and 5 elements of such forms. Combinations of both resulted the intercourse of Yin and Yang that might bring the offspring to blossom. That is still not enough; we still need to identify the Gua energies and the time factor. If all is well, then the right spot emerge.

Heavenly Jade Scripture (天玉經)-
by Tang era Yang Jun Song (唐楊筠松)
A
more refined version in descriptive as well as rhyme format to explain his
rational in certain protocol but rather vague. This can be explained by the fact
that he would not want his techniques to be in the hand of the bad guys that
might use such techniques to do bad things that harm society and the other
reason being that such techniques were exclusively for the imperial and common
person can not enjoy such privileges.
Heavenly Jade Scripture
(天玉经)
-Upper
Volume
‘Heaven
with 5-elements while Jade with 5 virtues that is the name given to this
scripture.’
There
are many versions in interpreting this ancient text and many schools of thought
cannot seem to be agreed on each other’s interpretation. Let us examine such
text in a much broader context and mind you there is no right or wrong only
sufficient rational given in terms of era of such text is written and period of
such text is interpreted.
Upper
Volume
The
first line in Heavenly Jade Scripture is implying that changes in the Guas
period is the movements of certain Yao. For example the Pure Gua is governed by
period 1, while the changes in first Yao is period 8, changes in the 2nd
Yao is period 4, changes in 3rd Yao is period 9, changes in 4th
Yao is the period 2, changes in the 5th Yao is the period 6 changes
in the 6th Yao is the period 3 and changes in the 7th Yao
is the period 7. This is in line with the context of 1 (odd) and 2 (even). The
movement of odd Yaos, 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th
resulted in period 8, 9, 6 and 7 while the movement of even Yaos, 0, 2nd,
4th, and 6th resulted in period 1, 4, 2, and 3.
Western
Jiang Gua governs the period 2, 3 and 4 while Eastern Jiang Gua governs the
period 6, 7 and 8. The period 2, 3 and 4 parent is 9 while the period 6, 7 and 8
is 1. In the period 2, 3 and 4 the direction of water should be 6, 7 and 8 while
in the period 6, 7 and 8, the other wise is true where the water should be in
the period of 2, 3 and 4. Same Gua governs both Southern and Northern main Pure
Gua, which is the first period Gua.

The
24 mountains is governed by the 24 dragons and dictated by the above Heavenly
Dragon, Human Dragon and Earth Dragon. This highly precious technique is not
advisable to leave on the hand of irresponsible masters. To fully master the
above parent, anticlockwise offspring and clockwise offspring Guas will pave the
way to prosperity.
The
Heavenly Gua governs the mountain while the Earthly Gua governs the water.
Knowing the matching of mountain and water Guas is the essential criteria for
achieving ultimate outcome. This is important to know that ‘Zhong Gua’ is a
stake of six Yaos, with the upper three is Heavenly Gua while the lower three is
the Earthly Gua. It is also said that the upper Gua represents the Eastern Guas
while the lower Gua represents the Western Guas. One represents odd and Yang and
also the upper Gua, while two represents even and Yin and also the lower Gua.
Both
Guas and Yaos will have their own parents and offspring. To identify the parent
Gua or parent Yao is critical for separation of Yin and Yang, both mountain and
water should have separation of duties, any wrong combination would result in
unwarranted energy. Differentiate the Parent Gua or Parent Yao is to ensure the
intercourse to take place properly. The next step should identify the
replacement Gua should there be one. The left and right replacement should have
different impact and therefore one should analyze and judge properly.
The
euphoria situation requires the direction inside the Gua area, anything that
outside of Gua area in not ideal. For instance Yam Rat and Kwai, if the Gua line
is between Rat and Kwai it is said to be in the Gua area if the Gua line is
between Rat and Yam, this is considered to be out of Gua area. The rational of
this is simple, as long as it satisfies the combined 10 or 15-theory, if it is
within the Gua area. Yam is 3 Rat is 9; the combined does not match the theory.
While Rat is 9 and Kwai is 6, combined equal to 15 that matches the theory. With
the inner Gua energy couple with the topography water direction that is inline;
this setting provides the opportunity to achieve fame and fortune.
To neglect and ignore the point of out of Gua energy is not wise thing to
do. Both criteria must be in place in achieving desirable outcome.
This
come to a point we must review our understanding on the combined –10 theory,
which is illustrated above, and the creation numbers of 16, 27, 38 and 49.
Beside the combined-10 theory anything that is in creation number would be ideal
to achieve the desirable outcome. For instance the Rat is 9 while the goat is 4
and such the creation number of 49 emerges. To identify the parent is
essentially the source of this point here. Any anticlockwise movement should
also refer back to parent, because ultimately parent provides the protection to
the offspring. Both mountain and water will also go through clockwise and
anticlockwise setting with the intercourse of Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang will
diverge into separate routes and the 12 Yin and Yang could be located in the 24
mountains and nevertheless the Parent Gua is important and serves as engine to
the setting.
The
secret of the Xuan Kong is none other than eat, sleep and even dine with Yin and
Yang, knowing the Yin and Yang upside down, knowing the Yin and Yang inside
out!! This is to reinforce the importance of Yin and Yang and once the
intercourse take place, the embryo would be conceived and offspring would be
delivered. The mismatch of Gua and Yin and Yang would produce
undesirable outcome.
3-Yang
is described as the beginning of a blossom season as well as the full Yang in a
Gua but it is only half of a ‘Zhong Gua’ that is also implying the
intercourse of Yin and Yang. 3-Yang means auspicious while 6-beauty means the
six offspring of Guas with two spirits. This is a desirable end result that the
water at the front or bright hall should be large enough to harness the kind
energy; the three-water mouth should be auspicious with the spirits of the
6-beauty. This is none other than the combination of the topography with the
time aspect that can be traced from the Guas energy. It is also serving as
reminder that Parent Guas are important while the offspring Guas are secondary.
The
importance of the arrival of water created wealth and thus status. The meeting
of water points normally resulted in commercial activities and busy streets. As
such, affluent, politicians as well as scholars will gather here.
It is also not surprising genius can be found here both school smart and
street-smart kids. The vicinity
topographical should be considered as well. If the water mouth meets with a
‘Guidance’ mountain that shaped like a ‘stamp’, than the place will
breed famous and prominent leaders. Should
the water from the site created dripping sound and both left and right sides
protect the area nicely, than this place should be famous for many reasons.
This
is again to reinforce the importance of both time and space aspects.
The combination of water and mountain, time and space require attentive
care. Either one out of time or place will nullify the qualification as a good
setting. The time aspect in regards to the three cycles of the dragon point
takes the parent Guas into consideration. Differentiate the Yin and Yang point
in relation to water mouth both incoming and outgoing. The dragon requires
turning back as to divert its energy back to the site.
Identify
the 6-Yaos of a ‘Zhong Gua’ to determine the right dragon of the 3 (Heaven,
Human and Earth dragons). The incoming dragon should match the incoming water
i.e. 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8 and 4 and 9 (creation numbers). The four main
Guas use the stems to match while the four corner Guas use the earthy branches
to match. If the out-going water out of Gua then catastrophic event will occur.
That is why the emphasis of in-the-Gua-area is utmost important beside the right
topography.
The
dragon龍
and mountain山
should in the creation number i.e.
1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9, while the mountain 山
and direction向
should be in the combine-10 or
married couple numbers 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, and 4 and 6.
Knowing the creation and married couple’s numbers as well as
identifying the entire Yin and Yang is critical.
The
incoming dragon and mountain should be in the ideal locale as mentioned above.
Again this is to reinforce the critical point of the sit and face
scenario. The Sit (mountain) should be static, yin, quiet, without strong wind,
high to name a few while the Face (incoming water) should be dynamic, yang and
low to name a few. The Yin and Yang should be separated for different reasons.
If the direction and mountain is sick (out of Gua) and it is obviously not
suitable to use. The source of water direction should be inline with the
direction of the site. It is also worth to point out that the method of
identifying the actual or precise direction of all the four main criteria is
critical because of the details degree, as fine as approximately 1 degree. Again
the inner Gua should be in the creation or married couple numbers and anything
that is not match (out of Gua) would be detrimental.
The
emphasis here is the mountain (sit) should be higher than the direction (face),
but should the mountain contains water, this will nullify the qualification of a
good setting even with only little water. This is the basic criterion to study
the mountain. It is a different situation with the direction, the direction
should have water but how big or small area is not the most important thing to
consider, nevertheless should the direction have a small mountain, this will not
nullify the qualification of a good setting. This is logic and base on the
rational that the totality of the site should be analyzed rather than go by the
book.
We
come to a point that we should re-examine the stars-allocation and the 5
elements. The interaction of the stars for the four criterions should be in
creation, breed and not destruct or drain. Identifying the parent Guas, the
offspring Guas and their Yin and Yang, as well as the interaction of creation or
destruction among them. For instance the incoming dragon could be from many
facets, identifying the Gua of the incoming dragon should not lead to the same
level of parents Gua, it should be from parents Gua to offspring Guas. And with
this we must satisfy the creation rather than the destruction of the stars
interaction in terms of 5-elements. The next critical point to notice is the
same period Guas, which is why the ancient text mentioned ‘it should be the
same siblings’. This is to divert the same period (time aspect) energy into
consolidated one. This is the
ultimate for achieving the One-Pure-Gua-Energy setting.
This is imminent for 64 Guas practitioners.
24-mountains
contain 2 ways, one is yin and one is yang.
The upper period and the lower period both move opposite ways. Should the
Gua energy is mixed (bad) meaning that the right period but not the right Gua or
wrong yin and yang, the pure water element (frontier) will help to alleviate the
bad energies. The frontier will
dictate which son or daughter of the family prospers, broke or mediocre. The
left side affects the number 1, 4th and 7th family
members, while the direct front affects the 2nd, 5th and 8th
members and right side affects the 3rd, 6th and 9th
members.
Dragon,
Direction and Water must not out of Guas; it is like a connected pearl. The
movement of mountain ends up in many different shapes, sizes and forms.
Therefore the mountain and dragon both have its own Gua energy. The relation of
these two is tightly connected to each other. To identify the movement of the
dragon either static or dynamic, to ensure the direction and the water mouth
would harness the dragon energy by way of funneling through the mountain to the
water direction with the right Gua energy.
The 5-elements of dragon, mountain and water should be in cohesive manner
to achieve desired outcome.
The
way to prosperity is none other than the right combination of dragon, mountain,
water and direction with the right Gua energy, right yin and yang or the
intercourse with right 5-element in creation cycle that provide a platform to
ignite the right kind of energy to the site. The rear should have mountain to
support the front should have water for harness; this is the simple rule of an
auspicious site. Adhering to the creation and married couple numbers and the
right yin and yang should be able to provide a good setting for generations.
The
main focal point here is to place greater emphasis on Gua rather than Yao and to
place even more emphasis on the parent Gua as oppose to the offspring Guas. This
is where the parent Gua provides the right dragon to funnel the kind energy.
24-mountains provide the path to prosperity as well as status in the community.
Both the yin and yang of the 24-mountains serves different routes and therefore
searching for the right route is imperative. The right parent Gua might lead you
to Chang An (where most successful politician will become ministers of the
cabinet) but with only the right offspring Guas you might settle for wealth with
no fame.
The
enormous right kind of energy ought to be from parent Guas, nevertheless the
left and right offspring Guas combining effort should also take into
consideration due to the uneven topographical nature. If the combination of the
Guas energy is contaminated or impure, than this should not be consider as good
site. Again the right mountain should be at rear and the right water should be
in front. Each Gua is divided into
first, middle and third tier and the middle tier represents the second son or
second daughter of the family.
The
right mountain energy is alive and moves clockwise while the dead energy is
reverse, but the right kind of energy of water is ‘dead’ water and the
‘unkind energy’ is lively water. Mind you that different Gua at different
time should affect different family members.
The
upper volume places great emphasis on the parent Guas and 3-General Guas, the
three general Guas are the Eastern, Western and Southern/Northern Guas with each
has its own parent Guas. To achieve the desirable outcome for a good setting or
fame and fortune we should examine the parent Guas properly that must be inline
with the both time and space aspects. The Dragon, Mountain, Direction and Water
must be in right Yin and Yang, right intercourse, right creation and married
couple numbers. That is dictum in Feng Shui!!
