Only God and Deities Got
right to Govern Chinese Heritage
The recent commotion created in the Fung Shui
industry after the ‘Nina’ case and certain Taoist sect of Mao Shan in issues
such as tax evading, molestation, sex seduction and other mal-practices has put
Fung Shui in the lime light. This
is a typical example of a bad apple in one basket, this happened to all
industry. It does not take a genius to figure that out, these are civil or
criminal cases that we ought to CALL THE POLICE! We do have authority figures to
settle such cases and we do not need an association to govern Chinese
metaphysic. The reason is simple who has the ‘right’ to govern our Chinese
biggest heritage, which is ‘Chinese metaphysics’!
Motive Behind such formation
The rational behind such formation is none other than
commercial reason to promote ‘who’ is in the association and such intend is
to harness the gigantic market share in PRC China that is growing rapidly. Mind
you that the organization is charging handsomely for membership.
Who is running the association?
Current setting of personnel running such
organization is questionable. Who, how and why they set the industry standard is
in doubt. For those who study and learn Chinese metaphysic will know that to
understand Chinese Metaphysic is a complex issue let alone to set standard to
govern it. To my knowledge traditional Fung Shui schools are but not limited to
eight. They are not in good terms with each other because of conflicting
methodologies as well as basic belief. As
such, to set the standard for the industry is impossible. From eastern Han to
Song era, the variation of different techniques and schools was obvious; it
varied from era to era and dynasty to dynasty.
This is vividly a time and space issues, in which certain technique must
be working in certain period of time or may be not. Such complex issue would
wonder how there are going to run the organization if basic question such as who
is qualified to set the standards? , who is going to set the requirements for
member’s entrances? Until set of questions and uncertainties are addressed,
current proposal is merely a ‘hype’ to ride on for publicity and self
promotion to my understanding.
The following points would illustrate the difficulty
in unifying Metaphysics industry.
1.Chinese
metaphysics include Mountain (Feng Shui), Medical, Life (Life reading), and
Facial and Predictive tool. All things should go hand in hand, in Feng Shui
alone, the branches, to my knowledge, have more than 8 schools of thought in
which carry different mission, ideology with unique strategies and tactics, to
unify such schools is tough due to history and cultural differences let alone to
standardize such organization.
2.
Feng Shui is
natural science and so does the practice of Dao, it should not be organized or
regulated because since most of the formulas in Feng Shui are like a trade
secret, all ancient master pass such essence via oral teaching from generation
to generation. Would you share such secret or formula to the public? The
organization of such only benefit a few and not all. The industry should be let
alone to grow naturally, this is the eternal them.
3.
Generally, to
seek a good Feng Shui master or life reading master is always through word of
mouth. Therefore such organization is unwarranted and unnecessary.
4.The motive and
purpose of unification of such organization is unclear and would only advantage
to few in the name of commercialism.
Does
Fung Shui item really exist?
One can buy and obtain items or ornaments related to
Fung Shui in almost every corner of the street in Hong Kong. Items such as
crystal, ancient coins, ingot, water fountains and many have been the practices
of many Chinese in the community since the ancient days. But, do you know Fung
Shui items do really work? Or for that matter does Fung Shui item really exist?
The answer is surprise to many, NO!
I have been
studying and practicing Feng Shui for the past 14 years and never in any ancient
scriptures or books mentioned about Fung Shui items. Nevertheless in Taoist
practice, items as mentioned above were used to modify the aura energy in a
house or a person, but in accordance to the need and permission from the
ulterior deities or god, this to require the combination of writing a ‘fu’
of a yellow piece of paper of ‘Taoist magic figure’. Such ‘fu’ is
written by qualified Taoist master to with proper ‘incantation’ orally
recited into the ‘fu’ for reasons such as inserting powerful words in order
for the ‘fu’ to function properly, normally such ‘fu’ is tailor made for
particular person at a particular time. In ancient days, such practice was for
fencing off ‘evil’ spirit that belief to enter the premises.
If you do follow closely my articles, you would
understand by now that the 5,000 years old Chinese Heritage is being robbed by
certain group of people for personal gain and interest. Such practice is
unwarranted as Chinese Metaphysic should be ‘lazier fair’ and grows
naturally rather than ‘intended’ of growth!
